Chapter 1: Beginning

At the beginning, the problem was not a lack of ideas. It was too many ideas, too many possible directions, and not enough structure to turn them into something repeatable.

That is where the work started to narrow down:

  • first, understand the real process
  • then define the boundary
  • then decide what can be executed safely
  • then package the result into something reusable

This is the reason MOVA became important. It gave a way to separate language, contract, runtime, evidence, and product.

The first real direction was not “build more AI”. It was: build AI that can be trusted inside a business process.

Why this chapter matters

This chapter marks the shift from experimentation to structure. It is the starting point of the product line that later became consulting, contract AI products, and specialized Hermes executors.
